There are two entrances to Plitvice Lakes National Park, Entrance 1 and Entrance 2, both situated on the same road, fairly close to each other and to the Lakes themselves. If you arrive by public transport (bus), the entrance is just there, very near the bus stops. If you drive, just slow down and read directions – finding an entrance is pretty easy. Once you are there, it is hard to get lost as there are plenty of useful info signs and arrows.
Entrance ticket prices vary from season to season and are sold as one-day or two-day tickets. Fees are much lower out of season while in the high season (June, July, August, and September) the prices get significantly higher. Here is an overview of ticket prices:
Child ticket for young persons from the age of 7 to 18:
The entry fee for children below the age of 7 is free!
If you buy your ticket for a 2-day visit, you will get a discount. There are also discounts for students, groups, and the disabled. A valid card to prove your status is compulsory.
Fees for Park’s shuttle buses and ferry boat rides within the park are all included in the ticket price. You can get on and off any time you wish for the same, flat-rate fee.

Dogs are allowed in the Park on the lead only. They are also allowed on the shuttle bus and ferry boat shuttle within the Park.
