This is a long walk /trail in the Park and a popular among visitors that have all day to enjoy the lakes. The walk includes boat and train ride (yellow and blue on the map).
Starting from the Entrance 1 the walk covers waterfalls and lakes of Lower as well as Upper part of the Park, similar to trail A and B but after boat crossing of Kozjak lake, the footpath is extending to the higher elevations all the way to the edge of Proscansko lake.
The trail is very pleasant, one of my favourite – you will also walk along the most of the Upper lakes that are less crowded then Lower ones and where nature is wilder than in lower parts. (at least this is how I perceive it, but I might be wrong)
Once you arrive at the edge of Proscansko, you will take a scenic train (its called ‘panoramic‘ here) to take you on the slow ride back and along the shore of Kozjak (near Entrance 2) all the way to the Kozjak bridge from where you will follow a path back to the Entrance 1 (as in previous trails)
Note: this trail is often closed in the winter time due to snowfalls. However, you can still walk around without using boat or train service.
Popular Routes: Zagreb to Plitvice, Zadar to Plitvice, Split to Plitvice
